I am influenced by attachment theory originating in the work of John Bowlby as well as psychoanalytic and humanistic relational theories that understand human beings as interconnected and mutually influencing each other, and thus as co-creating experiences. Additional influences are rooted in non-religious mindfulness theories as well as in existential philosophy that informs my understanding of life themes, such as search for meaning, freedom, and death.

My coaching approach is based in relational theories as well as in solution-focused coaching developed by Steve de Shazer.
